STARTED OUT FISHING A HUMP WITH A GRASS LINE. SADLY TO SAY NO TAKERS. SO MY PARTENER JDOLDFORT AND I DESIDED TO GO FOR THE DEEP BITE, BUT NO, NOTTA, NOTHING, WENT TO THE MID DEPTH RANGE AND CAUGHT ONE KEEPER ON A GREEN /PUMP. BRUSHHOG T/X RIGGED IN 10/12 FT WATER. BUT TO REPORT ON THE TOUR RESULTS IT TOOK 9+ TO WIN AND 5+ TO GET IN THE MONEY FOR FIFTH PLACE. 4.4 WAS BIG FISH. ANY WAY HAD FUN, ALSO SEEN SOME CFF'ERS OUT THERE.

Hello basser # 9, sorry you didn't do any better than that. I haven't got to fish HB tx. in about 3 weeks, my partner said it's too hot for him. I think he just doesn't like staying out that late. We always seem to come up with 3 keepers, they may have not always been big one, but still keeper. I guess if I want to fish Thursday night tx. I'll have to come up with a new partner. That's OK, I've been tied up in catching these big catfish.

We fished last night too...only had two keepers...both on a 10" worm in 14 ft. of water. Caught a short one on the first cast of the Tx and thought "Ahh yeah....here we go"! But it didn't last. We goose egged 'til right at dark. Pulled up in this spot and caught both of these in five minuets. Spent the last 30 minuets looking for #3 but no luck. We had 4.80, but I think 5th pklace was 5.32 or something close. We'll git em next week.

Talked to Churly for a spell right before blast-off, but didn't see him at the weight-in. How did ya'll do, Churly?

We bumped around from hole to hole with only a few dinks finally, I caught a keeper on a DD22 in about 15ft, and another keeper on c-rig right before dark. that was it. We have a club event tonight, and decided to stay out to find some fish, but we didn't. It was a nice eveing and those two fish look like they should have weighed about 6lbs together, nice pic!

Yea we came in fourth with 8.22, all three were the same size. We caught 9 keepers and the three biggest were the last ones we caught. Most came on a 7in Craw T-riged in about 19 foot, just couldn't get the big one. Did anybody fish down river, There were Four Boats on a hump in front of Booker T. Just wanted to know if they did any good.
