I would like to welcome everyone to come out and fish with us for the the last night tournament of the year, H&J Heating and Air CBA (Night) Open this weekend Saturday August 25th. Big Thanks to H&J for their continued support with the CBA. Should be a great tournament. Everyone try and be in water 15 min prior to blast off. Make sure and bring a lot of ice for the wells. Good luck to all who fish! As usual my hat is off to those who endure those 12 hour endurance tournaments. emoWorthy Be sure to go prepared for a long hot night with lots of ice to keep them alive. emoGeezer Let us know who wins with what. emoBigsmile Jmax

Thanks for posting. It is about time those two showed up again. emoWorthy They have been quiet lately, I think their best this year up till last night was a fifth in June. I knew they were too good to stay that way, due a win. emoTongue Looks like a low turn out with only 33 boats listed, would have been a good one to make up some points. Tight lines gang. emoToast Jmax

I must ask what is the point of a 12 hour tournament?

I am not sure how to answer that but even when I was an officer years ago that was talked about. Some wanted an evening event, some wanted a morning event, the sponsors wanted to have a day weigh in for the exposure, then when it was voted on it always seemed to be voted in to stay 8 to 8. That way all was covered, but it does make for one heck of a long @#*% tournament. emoDoh jmax

The txs used to be 8-6, but we’re made 8-8 to allow those running long distance and locking through to make their run in safe light

I would have to take a pillow and sleep a few hours to handle those tournaments.

I would have to take a pillow and sleep a few hours to handle those tournaments.

I did just that on a couple of them. Took a nap in the boat from about 1 to 4 in the morning. emoBigsmile Jmax
