Unfortunately this isn't a great report but I will make a report about "paying my dues!" Unlike some others, emoPoke emoLaugh Another foggy start, where it's almost scary to run the river when you can't see more than a couple boat lengths in front of you, I got an early start, right at daylight but when I got to the river from Soddy Boat Ramp, it was idle time. Thank God for GPS, sure makes it easier to get where you're going, It was a slow day and I knew it wasn't gonna be much when The Kid and CU came poppin' out of the fog to find me in one of his "favorite spots", (You gotta get out early to beat this ole country boy, emoBigsmile). Anyway it was slow to say the least, for me. At 9:30 I only had 8 crappie of which only 2 were keepers. I caught lots of 6 to 9 inch fish today and only one that was 12. Out of the whole day only 6 over 10 inches. I ended the day about 1:30 or 2:00 with a total of 33 crappie and one white bass who was the high light of the day with his battle, emoThumbsup Using 1/16th with BG 2" shad it was just slow, emoRolleyes Water temp is still around 60* but with the current and a northerly wind it was hard to fish some places. Maybe next week will be better if the water temp gets down a bit, emoQuestion No pictures today, no one wants to see 8 inch crappie,
