Tracy James, a long-time Parks employee, lost his home and all belongings in a recent house fire when their Rhea County home burned to the ground. Thankfully, the family was gone and nobody was injured by the fire. The Red Cross is providing for the family for the rest of the week.

We're coordinating assistance for the family in three ways:
1: Cash donations
2: Gift Cards ( Wal-Mart, etc)
3: Clothing
- Granddaughter- size 3-12 months- Crib, changing table, toys, etc needed immediately!
- Men's- size 34/30 pants, size XL shirts and jackets, size 10.5 shoes
-Women's- size 14 pants, size, XL shirst and jackets, size 9 shoes
- 19 yr old daughter (petite)- size 11-13 pants, M-L tops and jackets, size 9 shoes
-16 yr old daughter (petite)- size 4-6 pants, size S-M tops and jackets, size 7.5 shoes

The house was insured, but it may be a while before they are able to re-establish a home. For this reason, we're postponing requests for furniture, appliances and furnishings.

If you know of any affordable rental property currently available in the North Rhea County or North Hamilton County area that would comfortably accomodate the James family of 5, please provide that information as well.

For donations or information on rentals please contact any of the following:
Downtown Campus: Cindy Thomas-209-6800
Chester Frost/Riverpark: Sharon Hixson- 842-0177
Hwy Dept: Chris Hixson- 855-6102 ext. 277
Maintenance: Andrea Wright- 209-7700

WE CAN ARRANGE FOR ITEMS TO BE PICKED UP BY ONE OF OUR STAFF!
We thank all of you for your support. These people are just like you and I and now have nothing.
