What is the best affordable scales out there, I have bought a couple of the berkley scales at wal-mart but they don`t last long, I`m looking to buy another any help would be appreciated. emoThanks

I would like to know too. I bought some of the Berkley and Rapala scales and constantly have to hit them to make em work sometimes. Every time I turn on my Rapala scales it's in metric measurements.

Me too! I have heard boats and motors in dalton sales some for around $100 that are great but im not sure... I think they are ardent and its a whole culling system.

I have a lhand held {inexpensive} Rapala for three years now and believe it or not they are right on! I test them every few months and check the battery that's all. But they are right on with a 5 lb. weight.

I've had several of the fishing scales and all seemed to be made cheep and did not hold up...
I buddy of mine told me about this one , I love it, not cheep but really good quality... hope to be able to max it out one day...
