I eat a lot of hard boiled eggs (been a key to weight loss), and I have been struggling to find the perfect way to cook them... Well i found it, leaves them tender and NON-rubbery

Use about 5-7 day old eggs, fresh ones can be rubbery and hard to peel

Lay in single layer in pot, and cover over with upto 1 inch of COLD water

Turn eye onto Medium and bring to a slow boil, as soon as a full boil, remove from heat and let sit for 17 minutes.

Drain water and place eggs in ice bath for 30 minutes.

They are PERFECT and easy to peel... your waist line will thank you, and so will your gunz!!!

I've got another recipe and you can use it on any eggs, old or fresh.

Lay the eggs one layer deep in a big pot, cover with cold water, bring to a boil on high, boil 5 minutes, cut off heat and let the pot sit for 30 minutes, pour off hot water and chill eggs with ice, they will peel perfectly.

Get out the nosalt and pepper and dig in.

dumb question for you brandon. how do eggs help with weight loss?

Sounds like it could be something with a low carb diet. I know you can eat a lot of eggs when counting your carbs.

FS, eggs are nearly a perfect food source. Especially if you get rid of yolk on a few of them. Eggs are almost pure protein. Protein helps you feel fuller longer... Even whole eggs are low in calories relative to the amount of food you get. Were eggs get unhealthy is when they are scrambled with cream, buttter, and cheese.

I would have 3 HBE and some wheat toast when i was losing wheat, never went carbless...

I bring a 2 qt pot with about 3 inches of water to a boil and then use tongs to place a half dozen eggs in the pot. I set the timer for twenty minutes and then drain the water from the pot and place eggs in an ice bath. The yolks are nice and yellow, and the white has a nice easy texture. I like with Cavenders greek seasoning, or save a jar of Clausen pickle juice and pierce holes in the whites with a fork and soak for about two weeks.

place eggs in pot with cool water, completely cvering the eggs. Bring to easy boil and let boil for 5 minutes....then rinse with cold water for 20-30 seconds each....peel and enjoy. a lot quicker than letting them sit for 30 min and theyre just as good
