Well my streak of bad buck is still running strong!!!!

On the 4th I paid a place in Cleveland to put the wiring harness on my car so I can finally use my boat again. I had to wait till the storms cleared this week and got up this morning to go wet a line. emoRain

I drove over to my storage unit and went to hook up the wiring and low and behold.... emoBang the emoBadLanguage didn't work right. Tail lights won't come on and the turn signals flash every light on the trailer like an emergency.

I was so PO' ed I didn't even check the brake lights. emoMad This business does auto repair and also specializes in hitches and wiring so I figured I didn't need to check the wiring earlier this week. I've never had a problem with any wiring on any vech I've ever owned, I even hooked up a couple vehicles myself and my boat trailer always worked right the first time and every time!!!
It did cross my mind to check it.... but gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Stupid me will never do that again and to make matters worse - THEY ARE CLOSED ALL WEEKEND LONG. emoDoh JUST WHEN I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY RAIN!!! emoBawl

Is anyone willing to take this very PO' ed angler out this weekend to cure the craving to Bass fish from a boat????? emoPlease

If the trailer lights are flashing out of rythem with the flashers on the car it is a bad ground.The white wire in the wiring harness is not getting good connection.

It's not the dark I'm scared of. It's the logs and floating trees I'm scared of. I've fished without lights in other anglers boats, I also don't know the lakes real good either. I never get out far enough to worry about the channel.

I'll go fishing with you and won't cry like a baby either. lol

It was the ground. The knucklehead attached it to the bulb ground and not to the car itself. emoBang I fixed it in 5 minutes.

I also had to connect the ground on my trailer too. Hmmmmm, emoScratch I've had this boat and trailer since 1995 and this is the first time I've had to use the trailer ground wire.
It's always been wrapped around the other 3 wires and tied off to keep it from dragging on the road. It was like that when I bought the trailer brand new.

I did go fishing and my bad luck streak is still going strong!!!. Put in around 7:50 PM. I couldn't get my motor to run without stalling out. Then it just wouldn't start at all!!!!!! emoHoppingmad

So I just fished T Rig worms around Harrison Bay till 12:30 am and I stink of skunk!!! Only had 2 bites all evening. emoAngry
