Have a ? about dove and goose sat

Im going to goose hunt sat morning and start shooting dove in the same spot wont move at all i will have dove loads and steel shot is that legal i cant see anything that the game warden can do.

You aren't supposed to have any lead shot on person when waterfowl hunting.. But if you don't have a goose in front of you that would be hard to assume you are goose hunting.

Carry steel dove shot. Ive had to use it when i dove hunted at hiwassee refuge.

Its a little pricey, and it doesnt knock em down as well, but better than a ticket. I would say you could argue and win in court, but who wants to go throutgh all that hassle to do it. Take steel. emoLaugh

leave the dove loads in your vehicle till opening time at noon. If you are on a managed area the steel may be required.

Can't have lead with steel thats a quick ticket. I would just go with the steel for doves to they don't work as well but they get the job done.
