Ain't no way especially with that heifer having a calf with her too.........He had no idea how close to death he was, not the freakin Moose. That was awesome but amazing at how still he held his bow with an animal of that nature so close.........

Dang! That is awsome. I have had a big fox squirrel get between my boots on a stand to hide before but to have a moose come up and nibble on your arrow is about as close as it can get. Thanks for sharing. emoThumbsup Jmax

I to would like to know what he uses for scent control. She was oblivious to him being there. He had nerves of steel or was just plain dumb as to what could happen to him if that big momma became spooked while being that close.

hogger i was thinking the same thing, had to be tame. though not sure they'd be allowed to hunt where a tame animal would live (natl park or something)... though the whole 'hunt' could have been staged too...

though i have a friend who swears a spike came up and sniffed his boot while he was sitting on the ground, so i guess its possible.

He may have been too scared to move after it got so close. The wife and I were deer hunting from a pop up turkey blind one day and I forgot to hang up the scent rag before we got in it. I just flipped it up on top. We had a spike come up to within 3 feet before I waved him off. I knew there wasn't going to be room for 3 in that thing.
