I am looking for someone that can make Hardwood flooring out of some planks that I have acquired. I ended up with several board feet of about 40 year old Birch that is really beautiful. I am in the process of building an addition onto my house and would like to floor my office with this. Does anyone on here do that and/or do you know somebody that does? I am not in any kind of rush so if someone would like to tackle it I am only needing about 75 square feet of flooring cut.

I was wanting the T & G so that I would have better fit and finish. I could probably go with the plank and then just glue the edges as I install it.

Checked with Value Flooring he does not have the capabilties to do this. Thanks though. I asked him and he said he doesn't know anyone in this area that does it.

Have you talked to local saw mills about cutting the wood? I'm sure they can cut the wood to the appropriate width and height and then all it would take is someone with a table router to put the T&G in the boards.

Try Conasauga River Lumber Co. At Conasauga Tn off 411 hiway. they used to do this or just down the road at Tennga Ga. Sutton Lumber Co they may also point you in a direction.

You can call Everheart lumber company in Tellico Plains. I just had them make me some hickory with circle saw marks. Turned out beautiful..
