HBDF Last Night 4-27-2006

72 showed up to fish last night....the most I can remember. Not a lot of fish weighed in, though. Conditions looked real good, but I think the high pressure system made a difference. That's what I'm gonna blame it on. I don't remember what won it, but I know big fish was 3.9

We goose-egged....a lot of short fish, but no keepers. I became a victim of "if only" when the first bite I had (about 4 pounds) came unbuttoned at the boat. I let it get to me...and never recovered, mentally. I was way too psync'd up before I ever got in the boat yesterday....beat myself. It was a learning experience, though...but then again....every time on the water is....ain't it?

Said Hi to Curly a couple of times before the launch, but we were busy getting ready to go and didn't make time to talk. We'll try it again next Thursday. Didn't get to see Davo.

Wow, I just posted an almost identical post. I will also blame the conditions because it could no way be my ability. Sorry I didn't get to see you last night, maybe next week.

Heck no! We fished our butts off for a couple of dinks. Gary Hughes won it I think-9+lbs. Sorry i did get to chat. My partner was scared we were gonna get beat to our first hole. Didn't matter anyway, no fish there. Man it was tough for us last night, I cant wait for these big sals to go to the deep water structure.

No problem, churly......I totally understand. I saw ya'll come in....and I knew ya'll had to pay and get back out to the channel before blast off....ya'll were busy. We'll find Davo and catch up Thursday.
