Had a good little number of boats show up this evening. This is the last one this year that I plan to have 19 boats with just one pay out. emoRolleyes Due to requests from those fishing it and the lack of participation, as well as two other dog fights going on this same evening.....I am changing the payout to one per every 10 boats. So 10 boats or less it will be winner take all, 11 to 20 boats two places, 21 to 30 boats three places, 31 to 40 boats four places and over 41 boats five places. I hope this will increase the number of those participating. emoSmile

Tonight Ram Jack and his partner Mark Kinsey put it on us with three nice bass at 12.30 lbs and they also had big bass of the tournament at 5.14 lbs. emoWorthy emoApplause

2nd Treeman and Brad with 10.93 lbs.
3rd Wes Hardin and Ron Willerson with 10.38 lbs.
4th 2-jigs with 9.40 lbs.
5th Ron Holder with 9.35 lbs.
6th Tied Jmax and Colby with 9.19 lbs.
6th Tied Danny and Billie with 9.19 lbs.
8th Howie Burger with 6.42 lbs.
9th Robert Anderson and David Hobbs with 6.28 lbs.
10th Jeff Todd with 5.89 lbs.

The rest of the field chose not to weigh in. emoRolleyes

Thanks to all who fished with us tonight and looking forward to this Saturday for the Legends tournament. It will be safe light to 12 noon at HBSP. Weigh in at the picnic area. Hope to see a good crowd. emoThumbsup Jmax

P.S. There were no dead fish weighed in tonight but several had to be fizzed so they could go back down. Please take care of your fish due to the heat and the increased depths these fish are now coming up from. Get a needle and learn to fizz them. Ice down your live wells and keep the water running so to help them make it through out the day while in the wells. emoPlease

I also wanted to add that there were already a couple dead bass on the shore by the ramp where we weighed in last night. Those were not ours. I did not want to have anyone think that we killed those. emoTskTsk Jmax

I am glad to see a little more being paid out. I think that's why the Harrison Bay Bassmaster Thursday nighter has such great turn outs.

I know in the hot months we fish deep and I do not know how to fizz. What kind of needle to I need to get? Maybe somebody will be willing to show us how its done. emoScratch

I'm working on putting something together where everyone can come and see how it is done first hand. I will post details as soon as I get something in concrete. In the meantime, if you catch me at a weigh in, I will show you how I was taught to fuzz a bass....
