Had a good little tournament this evening. Had several boats show and some good sacks come in to the scales. It did rain on us once during the tournament but only for about 15 minutes. The bass for some seemed to be biting well this evening. Ron and Wes came back strong tonight and put it on us. They have been having a run of slow/low weigh ins but tonight was their night. emoApplause Here are the results....
1st and big bass was the team of Ron Willerson and Wes Hardin. Their 3 went 12.72 lbs. emoWorthy Three solid keepers with the big one at 4.82 lbs. to take big bass of the night. emoThumbsup
2nd place was Jmax(me) and Colby, our three came in at 10.97 lbs.
3rd was Billie Luna and Danny Danials with 10.75 lbs and their big one was 4.26 lbs.
4th fishing by himself was Eric Cabrera with 10.24 lbs.
There was some others that had fish at the scales but once Billie weighed in and then Ron weighed in they dumped theirs. emoRolleyes No one else bothered bringing up their fish and I saw some others dumping theirs.
This evening for me and Colby we had a very good time. We seemed to do no wrong. emoThumbsup We just could not get a heavy kicker. We had one right at 4 lbs. and four more cookie cutter 3 and a halfers. Not bad to have five that went close to 18 lbs in three hours. We also caught a bunch of shorts and several twos. We caught them on cranks, top water and shakeys. They all worked for us. Hope to do that well this weekend with the night CFF and CBA coming up. emoScratch
