I fished a tourney in that crazy rain on Nickajack Saturday! Now the electronics are on the fritz.

Lowrance HDS-7: the unit turned itself off three or four times then I noticed the sonar quit working. The nav still works fine. I let it dry in the house all day today and haven't taken it out yet. Do y'all think that the transducer has just gone bad or is it time for a unit?

LCF1440 flasher: when my sonar died, I turned the flasher on to keep up with depths. I'm in the habit of turning these off when I'm not using them, but it kept turning itself back on. When I finally got it turned off, it wouldn't come back on. Today I flipped the main power swith on and it kicked up with a thing that said " key test" but wouldn't respond. It later beeped and went to "light test". It's also kicked up some other things but kept going back to key test. Any ideas?

It was a crazy day for me. I had record backlashes with my Carolina rig, lost three of my Bullet letters on one side, and the one keeper I caught hit right under the boat and cut the line on the trolling motor (if anyone catches a fish with a sexy shad 6xd in its mouth, I'd like my crank bait back haha)

Thanks in advance for your help!

the hds are very voltage sensitive. With the rain and wet wires, your voltage may have varying too much. Do you have wired directly to the battery?

I'm not sure. The wiring was done when I got it. We just pulled the gas tank and don't think they put the right transducer on it. I haven't looked at what it is wired to
