HDS 7 with LSS1 - Settings?

Hey guys, I'm the new owner of a new Z7 and I had it rigged with two Networked Lowrance units and I was wondering if any of you that have those Unbelievable Structure Scan pictures could share your settings with a New Guy. I would like to fine tune mine to look like what you guys have been posting.

What all settings do u need I got a lot of mine on YouTube and different sites. If you need something specific just let me know I have only had mine for about 3 months.

2D sonar you want the ping speed at 19 or higher. This can be found in the main menu under sonar then options. For general sonar you want to use 200 khz setting and if you want a narrow cone for say vertical jigging or drop shotting then select 50 or 83 khz. Set the unit up for shallow water mode. Screen/scroll speed needs to be set to X2 and the Structure Scan works best at 3-6 mph. I keep my contrast between 60 and 75 on the Structure Scan and that will depend on the depth and the range I am trying to view. You can toggle between 400 and 800 khz for the Structure Scan. I normally use 800 for up to 10-15 ft deep water and 400khz for anything deeper than 15 feet. Matching boat speed and screen scroll speed is crucial for getting the best and sharpest images. Best thing is just get out and ride around and play with the settings. You'll be amazed at what you will find.
