heath j, Conasauga River, Coosa bass and longear sunfish, 8/20, SOLO

Hit the Conasauga yesterday morning to take the Coosa off the "To Do" list and managed to knock off the longear sunfish too. I had comp issues and had Spur to post up a pic for me of one of the odd looking little critters that I caught that did not resemble the common Coosa I have caught down there over the years. It looks as if it is a mix between a spot and a coosa and it was a DEMON!!! emoHoppingmad LOL!!! The little sheet ate 3 whole nightcrawlers before I could get a hook in him!!! LOL!!! Anyway a great great trip and I have completely forgotten just how beautiful it is down there. Nice little movie heathj. You know I grew up just a stones throw from there and I never fished for those. I fished alot of ponds and an occasional trip to the Tenn. river or Parksvile with my grandfather when I was a kid but never the Conasauga. Did spend time there swiming though.
