Helix 7 compared to the older version the 899

When comparing the helix 7 to the older hummingbird versions I noticed they didn't really change much at all but:</p>

1. <font color="#333333" face="Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif" size="2"><span style="background-color: #e8e8e8">They took away a card slot and only give you one on the Helix</span></font></p>

2.<span style="color: #333333; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: #e8e8e8">They took away the 3 favorite preset buttons</span></p>

3. <span style="color: #333333; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; background-color: #e8e8e8">and worst of all they took away ethernet Compatibility and made them stand alone units so you can't link them</span></p>

That kind of sucks! Why would they make them stand alone units>? I don't understand why they didn't try to improve the unit instead of downgrading it</p>

Is this true for the Helix 9 as well?

No the 9 and 10 they made it where you could link them. I guess You just have to spend the extra money if you want to link them. Just inconvenient when dropping waypoints on the 7 inch units.
