Helix 7 ????

I have a gn3 mega and i bought another graph to use for side and down and was wanting to just use the helix for chart. I unplugged the transducer and now it went into simulator mode and I cant get it out. I figured I could just undo the transducer and be fine but dont seem to be that way. Can I just run chart without the transducer being plugged in dont know why it went into simulator mode? All I did was unplug it

I run a 9 with no transducer for maps and never had a problem. It is networked to my other units.

Check and make sure you have the new unit turned on to that transducer throuugh set up's and then networking.

Make sure you turn the sonar off

how did you end up fixing it - I was using my 7 for mapping and had that same issue when no transducer was installed
