Hello all,

New to the area looking to get back fishing. Seems to be a great place for it! Unfortunately since I don't have a boat I have to stick to shore fishing. Anyone have a couple of good spots they'd like to share to a new Chattanooga resident?

Welcome, you can learn a lot here. Always people fishing at the bridge at Woftever landing. Good spot for crappies, not sure about other species but I imagine you could catch about anything there.

Welcome aboard. Booker T state park has some of the best bank fishing year round for multiple species. They also have tons of bank access.

Yep! ... what Hook1 said. Walk around the shore line. Don't just fish the docks or piers. A friend of mine has been doing this for years and has catches Bass, crappie, and White Bass {Stripe} doing this. mostly with small spinners. Welcome to the forum!
