Hi everybody..this is my first post. I just wanted to say what a great site this is. After checking it out for a few months, thought I would take the "plunge" and try to join you guys. After reading the reports, visiting a few dogfight weigh-ins and spending a half-day of fishing with my 13-year old son and the man, the myth, the legend....JMax a few weeks ago, my son and I wanted to join the crowd. The guys at the dogfight weigh-ins were really great to talk to and all the fishermen we have met on the lake seem to be the same way. With all the reports and discussions, this is truly a special site that you have going. We hope to learn a thing or two and chime in every now and then. My son has a real passion for bass fishing. JMax put us on some fish on our trip with him (my son caught his personal best at the time...a 4.5 lb LM on a spook, which was a great thrill!) Then two days later he netted a 5.75 lb LM on a crankbait! I just want him to learn to be a responsible angler and you guys lead the way. We have such great natural resources here and I try to get him on the lake whenever possible and away from cell phones, computers and video games. I hate to ramble but just wanted to say thanks again and we hope to meet as many of you as we can in the future!emoUSA
