I've been trolling backstage for a few weeks at the recommendation of Glenn the Doc. Thanks for all the info. I've already learned a lot and I enjoy reading about all of your exploits.
Personal: I've been lucky enough to live on the shore of Lake Chickamauga for 36 years and have fished some part of all of the 36 years. But as the saying goes, I don't have 36 years of fishing experience, I have one year of experience 36 times. Thusly, I'm hoping to open up some new of ways of thinking about how to get those scaly little devils on the end of a hook. (Whoops, not to insult DKs little blue slimeys - I've been known to cook my brain in an August sun off the towers fishing for catfish.) In fact, I'll fish for just about anything. (caught 4 inch blue gill through 3 feet of ice at 13 degrees below - you just gotta love to fish to do that.)
I don't much fish for those nasty green fish anymore but if my casts on Chickamauga were tagged end for end they'd circle the globe several times. Mostly without any bass at the end of the cast I might add. Mostly now I like to fish for crappie in the fall and winter. Well actually I like to fish for anything anytime. If they'd teach shad to bite I'd probably fish for them. In the meantime I'll be keeping up especially with the threads about the Sac-au-lait. Obviously there are some seriously good crappie fishers that use this website.
Looking forward to it and I'll post my first TARP. I think I might have caught a TARP drum a couple of days ago. Looked as if I may have hooked Drumking's pet. Maybe his little brother.
