Hello fishy friends. New guy on the block here. Was wondering if some of you could recommend boat ramps on Lake Chickamauga that remain launchable in low water conditions such as early Spring. I have a single axle boat trailer and a two wheel drive truck so, falling off the end of the ramp is not an option. Thanks for your help.

Chester Frost Park is one of the best ramps and is only unsafe if the water is unusually low. If the water is too low at Chester Frost the Ramp at the Dam by Erwin Marine is usually safe on the dock side of the ramp.

+1. And welcome to the area.

Thanks Magic for the info. I am familiar with Chester Frost but have never launched there. Know anything about Grasshopper Creek? Dayton?

I have used the ramp by the dam at the lowest water levels and had no issues. I also have a single axle trailer. That is a good ramp.

although I should say, once I do launch at WT and water is low, getting back to the dock is another issue...earlier with my deeper hull I came up about 3 ft short, had to get out on mud. flat bottom bass boats seemed ok
