There at catfish in Georgia? emoScratch

Just kidding... I'm #38. Here's my "Comment":

The Trophy Catfish Regulation in Tennessee has provided a tremendous amount of publicity and catfishing interest in our state, in addition to any benefits to the resource. Please seriously consider a similar change in our bordering state.

One problem - flatheads are not native to most Georgia waters and create problems in rivers and lakes where they have been introduced. That is one reason why there is no limit on size or number in Georgia. Teh DNR encourages fishermen to kill every flathead they catch in rivers that drain into the Atlantic.

Ronnie , From the conversation I have been having with the guys from south Ga, There is going to have to be some thought put into the specifics on this if it gets passed about the waters down around the Altamha river.."sp" Puddle
