help with anchor fishing

I am looking to take mother-in-law out fishing early thrusday morning, I put in on lower nick in cave lake. Can you all tell me of a good area to anchor down and catch a variety of fish. blue gill, small bass, crappie, and maybe small cats. I know put in at over by the little church, but thinking about putting in on the other side and fishing near the cave.

Looking for advice from locals that know the lake. I have a little 2 man mini pontoon with trolling motor.

windy on lower lake today. I ended up putting in at macedonia boat ramp. Fished toward bridge we only caught 2. Not good odds for 6 hrs today.

Next time I would drift, troll along the rip rap, bream and bass at anytime.

I have been curious as to where to bream fish in this area.

Do you know where the old road bed is?

I haven't heard about that. I see boats out in the middle of the lake area but was unsure why?
