I am no expert by any means. But to answer your question on someone else's post there is alot of good ramps. What part of the lake are you looking to fish. South and North ends of the lake are way different from each other. Welcome to the forum.

I'd like to try the south end. From what I've heard from others, that seems to be the better area this time of year

Welcome aboard! I also am not an expert but there is definitely good info on this forum from some really smart folks!! right now i fish quite a bit from the banks below the chick dam and also a lot of trout fishing within two hours of here. i have a decent knowledge of two cold stream rivers and a know a little about 3 or 4 others not to far away. anyway, welcome and Good Fishing!

Thanks Tight_Lines! I've heard about the area below the Chick dam so I'll probably head to that area this weekend. My grandfather loves to fish (at 80 years old), so we usually go together.
