Hey old friends!!!! need some help please

Hello again to all of my old fellow CFF'ers! Ok most of you all are not old (except you AL)..... Anyways Its been a while since I logged back in here. I was asked to help solve a problem last night and in trying to find a solution I thought of this site. So I now live up in Johnson City, TN. and for the first time ever I decided to join a bass club up here this season. Wouldn't you know it this club has voted on adding a two day tournament down on wonderful Lake Chick... "hey you know that those huge bags from last year and already this year was going to go viral right!!" Anyways this club like MANY others are running down that way. Because I am from there I was asked if I could find better accommodations then the Holiday Inn Express in Dayton. As we all know there is not much other then in Hixson. So I was wondering if any of you happen to know of some rentals? Home or cabin. If I remember there is a small cabin in Wolftever but its to small. The tournament dates are April 25th and 26th. They will decide on a launch location depending on where they can find the best place to stay. as of last night they had 8 guys paid and confirmed, and figure that around 12-16 will be the total coming. I'm sure many will plan to come down around the 23rd or 24th and practice a little. I may not even get to attend this event as I can't schedule that time off as two others have beat me to it. So I hope someone backs out between now and then so I can come back and get on that water that i miss so much!!!

Well if any of you know of anything or maybe an local agent I could call that would be wonderful. Take care everyone and good to see this site again!

I think one of the marinas has a big house that they rent and also some cabins but I can't remembe which one

Isnt there some rentals in Island Cove? I'm not too sure of that but I think there is.

In soddy they have a hometown in. Only prob is is it next train track. But its clean and fairly new place.

There are a couple of hotels in hixson that the pros use when they came here. They are only 20 mins from cfp. Right off hixson pike and there is one off 153 next to IHOP.

I called Island cove and got their info. It was a good deal and worked well for myself, but most of the other members have only fished Chick on the north end from Dayton down to around the plant. So they were wanting something around mid river so those guys could run up river if they wanted to. The hotels in Hixson are the other option and we got prices from each one. But after doing a lot of google searches I found a rental home that's just above the plant right on the water. No ramp so we would have to launch at soddy, but it will sleep at least 8 in beds with room for another 6-8 in inflatable matrasses. The problem will be parking the trucks and rigs at night so we are still trying to work out that issue. I got a call from the owner today with a price quote and its not to bad when you split it by 8-10 of us. If we can't all agree it will be the hotels in Hixson and everyone will be on their own to get a place to stay. Thanks everyone for the help.

Its not a very far from Island cove to the nuclear plant at all. maybe 5 minutes to sequoyah.

Oh I know its not that far. Even running with my little 40hp. But these guys were saying the ride from HB to Dayton was to far and would use to much gas. No clue as to why they need to run that far. They are blowing by the best places. But that's fine by me if they want to. Its all about what they know. They fished it last year and stayed at a camp ground up in the river. Blue moon or something. That was probable the first time most of them had ever been on any of that water. I did not ask but I bet most of them did not even fish past sale creek. I know one did but he took his boat down to CFP and put in. I was just asked if I could find them a place to stay between Hixson and Dayton. If I get to come and fish with them I know where I'm going no matter where the launch is.
