Moved last Fall from Atlanta, hometown in Jasper GA. Lived in Atlanta for 8 years and enjoyed it. School and work.
Now in Chattanooga, enjoying slower pace of traffic, nicer small-city people, and the outdoor activities are so much more accessible than in Atlanta. Looking forward to fishing around. Deep maybe for cats, etc, but also fly fishing for trout. Also been watching too much "River Monsters" for my own good, and want to find monster fish in TN river. :)

Welcome to one of the most scenic cities in the country, blessed with an enormous amount of lakes and streams within 100 miles of downtown Chattanooga! Welcome to the forum!

Thanks everybody. Looking forward to finding some big fish in deep water and some little fish fly fishing the streams.
I appreciate the welcome.

Question, has anyone had luck before recovering stolen fishing equipment/gear?
Last night I had my older jeep broken into and 3 rod/reels and a loaded tackle box lifted.
Any suggestions? I am located in north chattanooga near nikki's restaurant.
Thanks

emoWelcome And to anwser your question i have never recovered stolen rods and reels might wanna check out some local pawn shops in the area emoSorry

a big howdy to u hope who got ur stuff, suffers a slow painful death, has happen to me as well .nothing like gettn ripped off

Sorry to hear about your stolen stuff from your jeep. This area has issues with that and some break ins. Good advice is to not leave anything in your vehicle that can be seen. Only have to break the glass and it is gone. It will probably end up in one of the many pawn shops in our area. I cannot do anything with your jeep but if you need any kind of home alarm system give me a call. Jmax Action Alarms emoWelcome

Welcome! There is a chapter of Trout Unlimited in Chattanooga, the Appalachian Chapter. Good people and very active. Their home water is the Tellico River. L
Website is www.appalachiantu.org, FYI. Sorry, new to the forum and don't know how to make a link.
