has anyone tried for crappie on the hiawassi ? just a few more weeks of deer hunting and im goin to hit it wide open

Caught several slabs while bass fishing the last time out at the mouth of Roger's Creek; 18' holding on submerged stumps.

flip1up; Late afternoon on Sunday the 4th with a threadfin pattern Fat Free Suspending Shad...I think it is a BD7, which dives to 15', but I was able to bump stumps in 18' on 10lb Vanish.

never crappie fished up there but have bass fished . May start trying to fish up there in the next few weeks. The bad thing about the Hiawas is it does not take much rain to make it a mud pit. this time of year we get rain about every other day.
