Just an FYI for anyone interested. Grundy Co. High's bass team will host three tournaments this spring for all TBF recognized high school teams. We will fish March 16 and April 20 on Nickajack out of Shellmound. We will fish May 25 on Woods out of Morris Ferry Dock. Entry fees are $20 per boat. Plaques will be provided for the top 4 teams, big fish and 1 for the first place team's school to display. Prizes will also be provided for top teams and prize payout will be determined by the number of entries. Details are being posted through the national high school site www.highschoolfishing.org.
Grundy will have an internal tournament in Feb to get our new folks a little training. We have been very fortunate to have the Grundy County Bass Club jump in to help us and will provide some boats and captains for those who don't have boats in the family.
The TBF TN State high school championship will be June 1 on Nickajack out of Shellmound. They expect an even bigger crowd this year.
