Hitting Chick this weekend

Evening everyone. I am coming to chick this weekend for the first time this year, back in April for 4 days. I'm keeping up with reports but just wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom. I will be fishing out of Dallas bay and plan on traveling to Harrison and a few other places I caught fish at last year. I am taking a guy that's never fished it and don't want to let him down. Any help is appreciated.

Get shallow and throw rattle baits until your arm falls off. Switch arms and start over. You'll catch something.

HaHa. I plan on being in some pain after the trip. We are only going to get to go one day so we are going to get up here at 3 drive over and arrive around 6:30 and fish till dark.

Go into the back of wolftever and I promise you will catch some monsters. Try hitting the boat docks back there. Doesn't matter what you throw because the fish will be there.

It's shallow back there at parts so stay on the channel while you are driving. Be safe and trol back there if not comfortable driving fast through the twisties.
