We launched from B&B at daylight this morning, the temp was around 30 deg. Pretty cold, we ran up to the 58 bridge and started cranking, no takers. Water temp was at 47 deg. We ran back down to the cove above B&B and started cranking again, we came up with 4 fish. Two keepers, two dinks, all on cover in 2-8ft. Those fish came on an Excalibur XR50, pearl red in color. As the water warmed up, the wind was quite consistant all day. We found some more fish later in the day with the water temp. being around 55 deg. They came on a Watermelon finesse t-rigged, Two more keepers. We ended up with about 10 fish, around 10 lbs. Not too bad, considering the cold front rolling in. The water temp ranged from 48 - 55 deg. and all fish were in 2-10 ft. We fished for about 8 hrs. We had a good day on the water, and ended up doing better than expected. Nothing was picture worthy, except for a few deer we came up on. They were a little to quick for the photographer. Hope every one else had a pleasant day on the water!
