Fished the river back to back from B&B marina. On Thursday the 22, the water was about 2' higher than what it has been and the current was REALLY moving. Water temp was up in the low 60s in the evening. I've been going after work. Brought home 5 keepers and a lot of throw backs, but definatly not the quality or quanity of what we have been catching. My buddy found me on the water and had 10 keepers.
Went back today and the water was 10 whole degrees warmer than yesterday with hardly any current. It was actually 72 when we first got there and then dropped into the upper 60s and the sun started to go down. BUT....you guys that fished the morning must have caught 'em all. I talked to several anglers when we loaded up at dark that had been fishing that evening and the most anybody had was 8 keepers. We struggled back with one keeper and a few shorts. I caught my keeper in 14' of water jigging. Our fish have definatly moved some where. I hit the interstate 75 bridge area first and then ran down to a few places between there and Price Creek and we just couldn't find fish this evening.
