Hiwassee bass 3/10/2007

[Big Fish]

Fished this morning in the Hiwassee. water temp. was 52-58 depending on where i fished. Started out fishing traps on points and didn't catch anything until the wind picked up. Ended up with 3 slicks and a keeper. I lost a goooood!! fish on a trap it was my fault didn't have my drag set and was using factory hooks ( it want happen again!!) Started having trolling motor trouble and had to go in for about an hour or so. Came back out about 1:00 and found them up shallow with a jig. First fish caught this after noon was a 20lbs. drum. Ended up with four more keepers with one close to 5lbs. I have pics. but you all will have to wait until i get a cord for my cell phone so i can down load the pics. I'll be back out in the morning trying it again.
