Hiwassee Bassmasters is a Bass Federation Club. We currently have eight members and would like to at least double the size of our club this year. Obviously we need as many or more boaters than non-boaters so that everyone will have a chance to fish all of our tournaments. Please send a message if you have an interest in fishing with us this year or if you have any questions. Our club is all about fishing, learning from each other, and simply having fun!

Our club tournaments cost only $30 to enter (including a Big Fish pot) and we pay out 100%

This year we have an six person team competing in the Tennessee State Championship in May on Watts Bar. The Bass Federation, Inc. (TBF) is the oldest and largest organized grassroots Fishing, Youth and Conservation organization there is! We plan on taking one or more teams to state competition each year with the chance of advancing to regional and national competition and ultimately the possibility of earning a berth to the Forest Wood Cup.

2017 Schedule

Feb 25 - Chickamauga (Grasshopper)
Mar 25 - Chickamauga (Chickamauga Dam)
Apr 8 - Chickamauga (Chickamauga Dam)
Apr 22 - Watt Bar (Fooshee Pass)
Jun 3 - Nickajack (River Park)
Jun 17 - Watts Bar (Fooshee Pass)
Sep 9 - Chickamauga (Grasshopper)
Oct 14- Nickajack (Shellmound)
Nov 11 - To be announced (Our 2017 Classic)

We will be happy to email any prospective members information about our club including dues, tournament formats, etc.

Tight Lines!

I posted on here last week for the Three Rivers Bass Association (TBF Club as well) and got some interest. We decided to go a different direction in 2017 and pulled our post. I will forward your information to the ones that contacted me.

I am a co angler looking for a boater/team partner. Will split all cost even if anyone is interested in joining this club

This is one of the few trails that allows me to fish most of the tournaments due to my funky work schedule. My names Rob and I'm a boater. Count me in!

SMBASS77 we were both up till about four years ago. At the time they were having some organization issues but now have taken care of those. We looked into rejoining this year but found out their state tournaments are centralized around Nashville and west Tennessee. Their reason is that is where most of the clubs are located.

yea, when looking for a TN Bass Nation club, most were Nashville and north and west. I think there was one in East TN up near lake Cherokee, but that's just too far for me. Catch 22, no clubs in the east because state doesnt have tournaments there because of lack of clubs ha.

Having been on a few BASS and TBF divisional teams, I all but gave up on TBF. Not as well run and hardly any financial support from state (GA). Keep me posting if you guys change and become BASS affiliated too.
