Hiwassee Bassmasters of Cleveland held their 1st tournament of 2009 out of Grasshopper on Saturday, 2/7/09......Most of us found fishing very tough as a result of wind and the water temperatures from the earlier cold snap.
Jordan Nease won the tournament with two fish weighing 7 pounds, which included big fish-a smallmouth weighing 6 lbs. Howie Burger was second with one fish weighing 1 lb. The rest of us were put to shame as the remainder of the club blanked...Overall, a great day with a poor catch for most of us.
