The river is fishing Ok for trout right now, just depends on how much change is coming through with the weather when you go.
We have been taking alot of trout on the upper sections using fly gear, streamers mainly , with a little dry fly action from time to time. Spinning tackle is also working like a champ right now--Pheobe's, rooster tails, and the usually assortment of hard bait are all taking fish.
The lower sections of the river still have a few stripe running down with some reports of a few being caught her and there. But i haven't heard of anyone hitting any really large fish.
