You know that sinking feeling you get in your gut when you arrive at the ramp and see that you've got the entire place to yourself? Too make a short story even shorter, it was very cold, very windy, and the water temp has dropped all the way back down to 40freakin9. Managed a mere 8 spots in 4 hours...no apparent pattern, just fancasting a Lucky Craft LVR and a 1/4oz Booyah spinnerbait along ditches leading into spawning flats. Best bass went 3.8lbs and the smallest, which I nearly decapitated on the hookset, was a whopping 4". On the plus side, the water level appeared to be up by at least a foot...or maybe it was just the waves emoScratch
