Went up to Hiwassee to do some trout fishing this morning around 6:15am until 11:00am. They were biting real good today, needed a broomstick to knock them off! Caught probably around 80 or so between me and a buddy. Caught them on corn, roostertails, and small rapalas. Nothing real huge but it sure was fun. As we were wading out to the truck I came to a hole and saw literally a school of hundreds of trout! It was crazy, I've never seen that many trout together. The water was fixing to come up so I had to hurry and get out but I did have time to catch 2 or 3 real quick, lol..That was a neat sight. You would have thought it was a saturday or something with all the people up there. Never saw it that packed on a weekday. Sure was fun.
