I think m17glock and his son have been doing OK there. You should send him a message. Since I live close to there, I really need to go check it out and see what I can catch myself.

i was hoping someone who might be doing better than jr and i would have posted to this thread by now.
the only thing we have been catching a lot of is the white and hybrid bass on small shallow cranks and
floating rappala's on the flats close to the channel. have not had much luck locating any good sized LM
yet but we will keep trying

Not really sure which part of the river that your asking about???
Upper sections powerhouse to reliance----The trout fishing is very good right now, the water temps from appalachia powerhouse is still in the high 50's which is around ten degrees cold than it has been in the past decade. Nymphs, streamers, and dry fly's are all working well, it really just depends on the time of day and what part of the river that you are on. The trophy section is fishing really good in the afternoon with plenty of opprotunities at taking some fish on dry fly's.
We have also spotted a few stripes here and there, but nothing much. I really think that the colder water has held them down in the lower parts of the river.
Reliance downstream to 411 bridge:
You might be able to find a few trout around the boat ramp area and in some of the faster water downstream. I wouldn't expect on finding alot of action in that area if you are trout fishing though. Have caught a few smallies here and there, but nothing special.
411 downstream to 2 rivers and below:
I had a friend tell me that he caught a couple the other day, but i am not sure what area he was in. I would think that the bass will be holding in the deep water and you would have to dredge to find em
