So I know the refuge for the most part is from the 58 bridge to the 60 bridge. But how far up river towards watsbar does it extend. Is it both sides of the river or just shorelline I am looking at some property and if twra considers the main lake to be refuge. If I were within my land stakes on the bank duck hunting would I be in violation. The only thing I got from the hunting regs was you cannot hunt it during late season and you are restricted to between bouys. And Is there a map I can get of the refuge I have one for reelfoot It has come in very handy. But the chick is vauge to say the least from what i have found thanks.

Contact the TWRA and see if they will ride out there with you. We did this in stevenson with the crow creek refuge. Most areas are black and white but some are grey and those grey areas can be little honey holes.

Evrything from the sign markers in the woods to the channel buoy's is considered WMA.

Ok I will have to walk down to the edge and see if there are markers. I will defintly have to call twra and see if they can tell me anything.

the ones at the refuge dont know any more than we do. I talked to one of the last year and all he said was i dont know.

to the mouth of Double Decker slew. If you come out of Richland Creek & go south, its the 1st slew on right. Its across from the "Hog Pen".

I would think that area would be out of the refuge proper. I would think the area south of the Hiwasee and east of the Tn River plus Hiwasee river itself would be the refuge .

There is a sign in the middle of the river on the sandbar across the river from your slough. I believe you are not on the refuge but find the sign and you'll know for sure.
