Hixson Memorial Bass Club has membership openings for the upcoming 2014 season. ..PLEASE NOTE---our club is not about winning a lot of money. We are more of a fun, bragging rights club. We enjoy tourn. bass fishing, fun and fellowship. If your looking for a money winning club this is not it...By the same token it does not cost as much as some of the other Bass clubs. .The members are made of of a lot of good and Christain men (even thou our club is not formatted as a Christain club). We do not put up with a lot of fussing, cussing or arguing. .....We are only weekend fisherman so any one can compete. All tourn. dates and lakes to be fished are voted on by the whole club membership at our monthly meetings....We meet once a month Jan. thru Oct. and have a awards / Christmas dinner in Dec. We have a point and pound system in place for year end honors. Awards are given to the winning team of each point , & classic, tourn. We fish 10 point tourn's a year, plus a 2 day classic. our club is set up on a blind draw format (except for the father and youth son teams). We can not fish any lake more than 150 miles from Chattanooga. Since 2008 we have fished the following lakes witch is pretty much our normal lakes to fish, Chickamauga, Nick-a-Jack, Guntersville, Weiss, Watts Bar. Normally any night tourn is fished on Friday night....
