Hog hunting

I am not a hunter at all. I just got an itch to hunt wild hogs. I live around Chickamauga and ws wondering where the closest place I could go to get one around here. I have zero experience hunting anything bigger than a squirrel. I just want to get a hog. Any suggestions on where to go or any property owners that want these intruders gone? Please let me know. Thanks

Cohutta WMA has some hogs, and I believe they have a hog hunt coming up. Here's a link with some decent info for Georgia hog hunting

Still quite a few around the tellico area but some tough terrain and you really need dogs. Looks like you live in Ga so Cohutta may be a good place to go.emoThumbsup emoThumbsup </p>

polk county has plenty. Need to check the regs as they have many closed areas.

I never thought of Plk Co. that might be the ticket. I have seen some ruts in the Jacks river area too but never thought I could hunt there.

south florida near lakeland where my fiancee is from has tons of them. she used to hunt them with her dad and uncle when they both where alive
