emoWelcome , Action Jackson.... I will be real formal for the first time... then beware. I hope you are not thin skinned..... sure wished I had gotten around to meeting you ... but there will be a next time... welcome aboard...

I hit it alone Saturday after several of my planned partners dropped out throughout the day. I started out at Island Cove early and missed several fish on a spinnerbait. I then moved down through Waconda bay, and boated two smallies over 16 inches in a span of half an hour on a spotsticker. I then moved downriver to Fairview slough, where there was a handful of boats. I caught a few more small fish there on a rattle trap before moving over to the yacht club, where I finally caught keeper fish on a 3" tube bait at approximately 12:40.

In addition to the great cause, I was using this tourney as a tune up for my club's classic next weekend. I hope maybe I can find some better fish between now and then.

Also, kudo's to FA for assisting in unloading the rig...It is always easier to unload with two people...
