The tournament on G. Considering that we were joining 70 other boats at the launch and weigh-in, I think it went well. I know I'll get there earlier from now on. I really haven't heard any complaints or even suggestions from other participants. The one on April 4th should go much smoother. Unfortunately, I won't be fishing that one. Got a club tournament on that day.

To Flip... As I was driving home, I suddenly felt a little guilty because I ended up doing the weigh-in. That's usually your job brother.

With the crowd at the ramp, I think all the tournaments that day did good to get out.

Thanks for weighing the fish Pointer. Flip and I were stuck with getting the boat out and that took forever!

We got to the ramp at quarter till and thought we could get the boat out quickly and get set up to weigh. I was in the traffic jam so thanks for jumping in and weighing them. Next time we will just tie up and get the boat out later. It went good considering the circumstances.

I thought it went really well given the circumstances! They will all go smoother as they come and I think we have got us a great little trail going!

The only thing I think we have to establish next time is a solid blast off/be in the water time. Make a strict cut off so the tx committee can get in the water. I think we eatablish that time one week prior.

Also we need to draw for who from the tx committee will do blastoff. Jerry has done his duty.

Otherwise I thought it went well considering the craziness

I showed up at the weigh in and the crowds were horrible. It looked chaotic everywhere except the weigh-in table. From what I saw, it was handled very well. With all of the boats in the water and other tourneys I don't see how it could have been handled differently. Jmax's comment on being inside the bouys (or other landmark) by a certain time is what I've always seen for deadlines, and I thought that was implied. If you're there and are late getting to the weigh-in line due to crowds, you shouldn't be penalized... unless you're dragging your butt around and not attempting to get there. How was the blastoff handled .. waving a hat and yelling? ... air horn?

I agree with the strict cutoff time... at least 10 mins prior to blast off and let the committee get on the water to start the tournament.

I thought it went pretty well considering the crowd. As far as a sign-in deadline, we would haveleft several people in the long lineon the one lane road trying to get to the sign-up table. I thought we did what we needed to do, in this case, and shouldn't have the same problem repeated. You guys were great!! Al

I plan on doing the blast off next tournament although we will probably go out to the buoys and do a all at once blast.

I'll do sign-ups too but will need some help.
