That looks almost like the glasstream I had. How did it run???

I have not been in very many bigger faster boats but this one come out of the hole faster than I have ever been. THe turning could have been better but it was windy and rough water and it took the waves awesome. Do you know where I could find a windshield?

Have no ideal about a windshield. The XR6 is a under rated HP engine. They are strong for sure.

Wrenchin I was cleaning my boat today and noticed some milky white fluid draining out of the lower screw on the lower unit. I ran my boat Saturday and just noticed it today. I have my motor trimmed down. I am guessing i have water in the oil and some leakage from a gasket or a screw. ANy suggestions.?

Sounds like a gasket is torn, missing, or the screw was not tight enough. Needs to be drained and refilled. Ran for about a week and change it again. This will flush it. Part number for the gaskets are 12-191833

I was cleaning my windshield on my Lund boat and noticed a sticker that read: Custom & Tint, Inc.
1991 Hwy 425 S
Monticello, AR 71655
(870) 367-7083

I tried to find a website but there doesn't appear to be any. This may be a start anyway for your windshield.

I am taking it back to the place where i bought it tomorrow. He said it was just serviced but i don't think the fluid would be milky white after a 30 minute ride do you? And in the future How hard of a job is it to drop the lower unit to put gaskets, water pump, etc.. Cuz i know this will be an annual thing. I never had a decent boat to tinker on so this is all new to me hope i am not in over my head.

Depends on how gasket is leaking, even idling around there would be ample enough time for water to get in the case.

Is a fairly easy lower to deal with.

I am going to PM you a link to down load a manual for it. It covers mercury V-6's 2L and 2.5L 92-00. I have went through and made it user friendly. Just be sure to read the instructions I included to ensure you get the most out of the manual. If it is newer than 2000, just let me know. emoToast
