how many ways does a fish hit?

I have been fishing close to 50 years and me and my fishing buddies have named a lot of fish hits and was wondering how many names you guys have for a fish hitting a lure. Example being PECK,TICK,THUMP, JUST THERE, MACHINE GUN, etc... emoSmile

loaded up, jerk, wacked, and pulled would be some more that we use along with the ones that you have put down.

Slammed, hammered, walloped , sucked, licked , slurped, inhaled, mush, and last but not least KA- POWWWW emoLaugh emoLaugh

The only way I personally know is "I GOT A BITE!!!!"

One guy I used to fish with would say "He just breathed on it!"

And "he just touched it."

I often use "He rattled it."
