How often is the spillway used at Chick Dam?

I dont recall that we had enough water for this last year...anyone remember? TVA dams usually only spill during massive rainfall.  i don't think G'ville dam has spilled since December 06

I think it has been about a year and a half since Chickamauga has opened the flood gates.

I would also imagine with the construction that is going on right now, they are probably super hesitant about opening the gates...

Fall of 2006 they were spilling pretty good for a week or more. We tore up fish while they were spilling.

uhh...it definately wasnt over the summeremoLaugh Takes alot of rain before they will even crack the spill gates..
