How to Determine Manufacturor and Model?

So I am trying to get insurance on my boat however they are needing the manufacture and model of it. The boat is a TVA work boat and has no distinctive characteristics (that I know of) to help me determine this information emoBang

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to obtain this information, any help is greatly appreciated.

Regardless of whos boat it is, there should be an ID number on the left hand side of the boat at the rear. If not, its been removed for some reason.

I think it became manadtory to ser# all boats in the late 70s

Look for a placard riveted on or numbers stamped into the hull. Usually on the transom on the outside. If it has a console look in that area.

ok I think I got it boat was made by Tennessee Fiberglass Co. and is an 03 model

At one time TVA had a ski barge fiberglass work boat. Most of there work boats are aluminum.

yeah mine is figerglass little over 21ft long and is an 01 model according to seller
