My brother lives in michigan had 16 inches of snow over the weekend thats sad but thought id check out there fishing. Regulations I may be wrong but I understand u cant keep a bass until may 21st because of spawn I dont beleive u should catch bass off beds destroys all the babies that would be a shock here wouldnt it just a thought

some places say you cant "target" bass til a certain date and then cant possess them until another date, im glad we dont have to deal with all that here 
That's a very common law on bass fisheries in the northern mid west. They also usually have absolutely awesome fishing for northern strain largemouth. Keep in mind fish and game laws go along with culture of the region. There are probably lakes up there that stay iced over into May. Can you imagine opening day of bass fishing on Chick?? LOL
