Humminbird helix down imaging?

Can anyone vouch for the helix mega down imaging? Is it as good as lowrance? I here the side imaging is just as good and some say it’s better. I have a helix 9 first gen and am going to buy another unit for my consol and move the 9 to the front. What I am stifling with is whether I should sell my 9 bad by lowrance ti’s or buy a helix 10 g2n for my consol.

I'd stick with Humminbird no matter what. They have the absolute best mapping out there. The side and down imaging pretty dang good!

I'm a humminbird fan, and I love my mega imaging units. But, I will say that lowrance down imaging is much better, just like humminbird side imaging is much better than lowrance IMO. What sells me on humminbird is the mapping and cost, and the customer service is top notch too.

the mega units have BETTER DI than the gen1 helix as they have a dedicated DI crystal in the mega transducer where as gen1 helix units do not.
